Nick Lundgren joins CNE as CADD/GIS Technician

We’re excited to welcome Nick Lundgren to our team as our new CADD/GIS Technician! Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to his role, honed from his experience living and working in both Duluth and the Twin Cities area.

Born and raised in Duluth, Nick spent the first 23 years of his life there before moving to Bloomington, MN, in 2020 for work. During the pandemic, he saw an opportunity to expand his skill set and decided to pursue studies in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This decision set him on a new career path that ultimately led him back to Duluth, where he accepted a position with Douglas County before joining us.

When asked about his favorite part of working in GIS, Nick shared, “I love being able to connect and convey ideas in a way that is usable and helpful.”

Outside of work, you can find Nick hitting the gym, hiking and biking in the great outdoors, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
