Hiring OSP Engineer | Multiple locations

Communications Network Engineering (CNE) is excited to announce that we are hiring an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineer to join our team! The new position is available in Fargo, North Dakota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Northwestern Wisconsin, and Iowa. This role is critical to CNE’s continued success and we’re looking for a highly skilled candidate to join our team.

As an OSP Engineer at CNE, you’ll be responsible for a variety of essential duties. Responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, including electronically drawn staking sheets and maps using Visio and AutoCAD, preparing construction units and progress reports, on-site compliance inspection, GPS mapping, and more. It’s preferred that candidates for this position have received an Associated degree in telecommunications or drafting or construction management. The OSP engineer will be working closely with multiple computer programs including Office, Visio, and AutoCAD; experience with these software programs is preferred but not required.

CNE experiences especially high demand during the summer months. Candidates must be comfortable working in all kinds of weather conditions with the ability to work extended hours during the busy season.
