Mike Wanzek Joins CNE as Senior Professional Engineer
CNE is excited to welcome Mike Wanzek to the team as a Senior Professional Engineer. Mike brings decades of telecom engineering experience to the team and will play a critical role in our ability to give clients the world-class service they have come to expect.
Mike is an expert in his craft. Since the early days of his career, he has worked as an engineer in the telecommunications and electric power industries across the country. From the metros of the Twin Cities, Minnesota, and Denver, Colorado, to rural communities in North Dakota and Minnesota, Mike has made his mark on the industry.
After decades of engineering work, you might think that doing the same work could become monotonous; Mike will tell you otherwise. When asked about his favorite aspect of his career, Mike answered, “I really enjoy the variety of days.” Between office work, field visits, and collaborating with coworkers, Mike finds engineering anything but dull.
Today, Mike lives with his family in Bismarck, North Dakota. Since moving to the state capital a decade ago, he has had ample opportunities to express his love for the outdoors. As a self-proclaimed adventurer, Mike enjoys spending time with his family snowboarding, hiking, and enjoying the lakes near his home.
